JMR - Southsider

Black. White. Chicago.

The Southsider was inspired by a part of Chicago that has always felt like home.

It’s black and white because, for me, those colors will always mean baseball on the South Side. But the memories behind this watch go well beyond the game. They’re Chicago-style hot dogs, Italian beef, summer nights, and that unmistakable smell when you first walked into Comiskey Field.

Most of all, they’re memories of going to games with my dad.

I remember walking into the ballpark as a kid, taking everything in, and spending great days and nights sitting next to him watching baseball. At the time, it was just what we did. Looking back, those ordinary nights became some of the memories that mean the most.

That’s what The Southsider is about.

The black-and-white chronograph design is clean, classic, and unapologetically Chicago. It has the look of a watch that could have been worn to the ballpark decades ago, but still feels right today.

Like many JMR watches, the inspiration isn't really about telling time.

It’s about remembering it.
