There was no grand plan to start a watch company at the time. I just wanted to make something personal, useful, and impossible to find at the mall.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe green dial and matching green bezel are a nod to one of our favorite ways to spend time together: golf.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMy dad was a busy business owner, which meant golf usually required some creative scheduling. We played a lot of twilight rounds, squeezed in nine when we could, and occasionally finished in lighting that probably wasn’t approved by the USGA.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eAnd despite the amount of golf we played, neither of us was exactly waiting on a call from Augusta.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThat wasn’t the point.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt was about getting out there.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eFresh-cut grass. A little sunshine. A cart. A few hours with Pops. Maybe a decent drive.
